rollyourcar.com  this is weird i wonder if they really painted the car on the site with a roller.  I bet it would work technically if it flowed out ok and  you would for sure be cutting the shit out of it and buffing!!!   ha ha i want to paint something with it just out of curiousity!

I helped polish a car that was done this way. Honestly not worth it IMO......we spent 2 days cutting and polishing it to make it shine like a half shitty paint job. Its almost impossible to buff around urethaned windows, and bumpers etc....... For what it cost, and the time involved, its much worth it to prep your own car then pay someone to spray it.   Ive charged as little as $200 to spray someones car, and theres no polishing required, another $200 for materials for a simple urethane enamel, solid or metallic.   Its a cool idea, but very time consuming to have something that looks like something the appretice painted while hung over.   -Brad

I painted my garage wall a few months ago.  I ALWAYS use Behr paint, because it cover well, usually in one coat.  I thought I'd save $10 and buy some cheapo paint, since it was just the garage.  It took me 2 days because I had to use 4 coats. I shouldhave just spent the extra $10 and saved a ton of time.  I would apply this to auto painting.  Sure you can save some cash, but all of the extra work to get results that aren't as good just isn't worth it.  Props to anyone willing to give something different a try, though.

yeah. its kinda funny cause my friend sent me the link to look at cause he wants his truck painted and was thinking about doing it this way himself. anyway he asked me cause i paint and i pretty much told him the same thing.   I said that possibly you could get it too look good if you know how to buff cause you'll for sure be sanding and buffing your ass off!  anyway he decided against it.  i just thought it was weird and wondered if anyone else had seen it cause ive been painting for several years and never have seen it.   I do remember seeing on Trucks Tv on Spike, they did some body work on a cab corner or something and used a roll on primer, but ive never seen like a whole paint job rolled on!
