Hi
If you add those, your truck would be lower but dangerous to drive.

Tech,
I have a 1991 chevy silverado 2500 extra cab long bed with 6 lug wheels. I do believe it is the 1/2 ton but could be mistaken. I have currently have your 4"/6" drop kit which includes the following (lowering springs, lower control arms, and rear flip kit) and cal max shocks all around. I want my truck lower so would adding your 3" drop spindles in front & shackles and hangers in the rear lower my truck more? I am looking to get about 2-3 inches lower than I already am. I go tone more question....
When I have more than a half tank of gas my truck leans to the driver side. Do you have any idea how I can fix this?

Thanks,

I think that would be way too low and still be able to tow...you have the 3/4 ton truck. 5/7 drop with helper bags is as low as you should go.   Bagging it would be your best option, there are lots of bagged trucks out there that tow as well, just make sure its set up right and can handle the load (some kits are better for towing, some are worse).

why do you think it would be to low to tow? why do they say  danger i said nothing about towing to them they said there control arms and there spindles are not good together .

Solomazzz,                Your truck is a 2500 3/4 ton truck . Are you running stock rims or aftermaket rims? He might be thinking you are running stock rims and going that low would rub on the tire or rim. The most you can go on those trucks with a static drop is 5/7 i would run a helper kit in the back for sure

Longnlow,

they are stock wheels with a smaller tire i have plenty of room in the wheel wells, so to go 1inch more sucks i want at least 2 if not 3 then get bags in the back for towing if needed cause right now it tows fine after work i will post some pics.

Solomazz,              the main area you need to watch is not the wheel well area but more the area were your lower a arm tip comes near the rim. With the drop lower a arm and coil spring you have say about an 1" clearance. when you add a drop spindle to any truck/car you are in essance moving the whole rim up to get the drop so when you add a drop lower a arm and a drop coil and a drop spindle you have no clearance between the a arm and the spindle.

Longnlow,                  thanx man i get what your saying i wish the people that made the kit could have told me that, well come to find out i have the 4/6 and they are going to make that a 5/7 so will see how it goes bags may be in its future.
