help with a 4.3 and a 4 3/4 BD blazer

got the motor and trans in tonight..but ran into a problem with my steering shaft and egr pipe...any idea on what i can do to solve this?

id say run some u joints to make them line up again, and make a new little tube for the egr so it gives you that line you need to make from the shaft to the box.   depending on the year, id say get a set of headers and just remove the egr system. unless you get really cold where youre at and then it can be nice to have. 

yea they make a egr block off plate for certain motors..not sure about the 4.3..
