Changing My Door Handles

Hey everyone, I'm getting ready to do some different things with my 1995 S10 one of which is to change my exterior door handles. Does anyone have some pics of some door handle conversions they've done or any good ideas? Also what was involved to do the conversion, etc.  Thanks, Kevin

i like the handles that are refered to as the clamshell handles i think but i cant remember what they come on. i wanna say its newer gm. i could be wrong

Are these the ones you are talking about? This write up on the install was on sport truck magazine.

i did honda civic handles on my ranger a few years ago.

i cut the metal around the handle from the civic door then cut that same out of theranger door where i wanted it

not to awful bad to do

do something like the new corvettes have.  where you push a button inside the handle from the outside and it unlocks or pops the door open.  Little bit of metal work but all the same, It'll stll look remotely shaved but still have a handle.  I think that would be pretty trick to get that to work.
