No, not really, otherwise it would just be a parrallel 4-link.  I was thinking that they had one in front and one in back for more stability, similar to how GM puts one shock in front of the axle and one behind the axle.

if you had both watts links mounted in front of the axle it would just rotate and not hold pinion angle.  I think the 2nd one has to be behind the axle to keep the pinion straight.

aight well i have a little more input on the truck and the people building it, they used to live on my street so i know who they are, shes been workin on the truck for a while now, its actually her man thats building it, i may be wrong but i believe this is his first full build, not bad in my opinion for a first build, the truck is not done, however i dont know what else he is gonna do as far as suspension.

very cool idea i think. i would like to watch it lift and lower. and yes sum welds and tabs look like doo doo but you can fix those problems. hope they do get fixed cause its a cool idea i think.

haha thanks for all the attention. the truck every one is trying to figure out is my girlfriends truck. it is the first truck i have ever built. the truck uses 3 watts links one traditional and the other 2 are mounted opposit of eachother to control back and forth movement there is also a "dogbone" mounted on the passenger side attached to the watts link that controls the pinion angle. all the metal is 3/16" wall dom tubing which is thicker than nascar chasis. as well all mounting tabs are 1/4" thick sorry i havent spent time on smoothing them out to everyone liking. the trucks future paint is already paid for so it willll be finished. maybe late next year(buying a house so that a lil more important than a truck. i will admit not all welds are perfect and street trucks put a picture of the absolute worst but id say 85% of all welds are fine. and the picture where it was commented the bag had "air when laid out" .....it wasnt laid out because the bed was up.

good design, poor execution thus far. needs reinforcement on a lot of the bushing points, with some work and slow, focused time it could be nice and safe.

but for right now, the safety factor is just a bit...
