I just recently got a bagged 95 burban, that lays in the front and is 2 linked with leafs in the rear. The pass side rear brakes are leaking everywhere from inside the drums. My question is will a 68 camaro 10bolt hold up strength wise under this? Ive seen people running narrowed impala axles under there rigs, so I thought I'd ask. The main reason Im considering this is because my bro rolled his 68, destroying it, but the drive train was still intact. Hes got a SSBC discs in the front that he said hes gunna toss because one of the calipers is inside one of the mangled rims, the other one looks fine. I figured axle with already high gears (3.07-3.23) and calipers to do a disk conversion, and dont have to mess with pullin the old axle when ready todo new link setup. I already know if I want to put any decent power to it I'll need a c-clip eliminator and maybe some stronger shafts.

this is all assuming the axle innerds werent grenaded.

yeah, I traded a tacoma for this, Its hard to fit in a tacoma ex cab when your 6'5" and have a kid in the back seat. the rear set up looks alot like a helper bag then anything, with the bags aired out, or in my case removed, the gas tank sits about an inch off the ground. The 2 links are just to keep the axle from wrapping.I may have just explained the obvious... Thanks for the help
