What are some good brands today?

I'm still sticking with ARC audio because of the amp designer.  Anyone who knows Robert Zeff, knows of the quality amp produced.  ZEFF AUTOMOTIVE PRODUCTS COMPANY, What does that stand for???  anyone... anyone....?  I know I know........ ZAPCO, the pioneer in true power, no bullshit amp design!!!!!  But they are a little pricey, I will say that!!!!

well i'll give some advice on what i see in the lanes at comps these days that actually do good numbers or are impressive that can play music well in a good box...these are companies id recomend in no particular order Subs: PowerbassDCFIDD audioRe audioSoundstream  amps:Us ampsArc audioDD audio powerbassHifonicsStetsomSoundStream mids and highs:image dynamicsRe audiopowerbassfocal if left someone out its not because they are not good. these are just who come to my mind when i think amps subs and mids and highs

Other than Power Bass most everything mentioned is good stuff but I need to throw Memphis in there too.

power bass has INCREDIBLY nice mids and highs, and Andrew Mccain has a few world records using power bass

JL Audio, Alpine, Infinity, MB Quart, Some Kicker, Some Rockford, Polk Audio, SoundStream,  I run a car stereo shop, i didnt think much of JL when i started at this place i was on soundstream then to alpine, after i tried 2 JL 10w6v2 and the JL slash 1000/1v2 it made a believer out of me.. you want hard bass try the w6's or w7's  or try the alpine type x ot type r.
