got a new billet  steering wheel, want to put my  2005 Safari found billet 9 hole adpatpers on GMs w/o air bag. I want to remove the air bag put on the correct adapter?. I have done this on my toyotas but they are old and have no SRS crap(seat belts are in the  trash). Dont want to mess anything up its my wifes daily so any help would be awsome. would the pass. air bag work? any air bag lights on dash?I see a bunch of newer trucks w/ billet steering wheels but seems like most companys frown on removal of airbags due to liability. Thanks

Unhook your battery for a few hours and then remove the steering wheel and air bag. Then bolt on your new adaptor and wheel. You will get a light on the dash because the air bag is unhooked but it shouldn't affect the passenger side air bag. They should be wired separately.

ok sweet, are all the newer 90s 2000s GM adapters the same. like a full size chevy adapter will work on a  03-05 safari/astro? I had a 2000 astro and there are differences in the electronics and other small things on this 2005. Im thinking of going with a belltech flip kit and drop spindles and recomendations on static drop kits
