Anyone with actual knowledge can answer this, nont just max.

I read max's article about bag size and it got me thinking.
My sonoma has firestone 2500's upfront with monroe shocks and my ride height equals about 100 psi on the passenger side and 110 on the driver's side. I can't ride much lower without occasional rubbing on the inner fenders due the the extremely crappy roads here.
To me, the ride is pretty good, maybe a little on the stiff side but definitely good.

My question is about swapping out to 2600's. I know that the psi required to get to the same height would be less (guessing 80-90 psi). I really don't want a ride that would be A LOT softer.

Is the difference in the 2 size bags at those psi really noticeable? If swapping out to 2600's would make the front end really soft then I dont want to do it.

Thanks to anyone who tries to answer.

dont swap to slams if you are running a shock they are stif without shocks...i would say contiects..they are softer then stones...to me the 2600 are softer...atleast on the back of my yota and the 2600's on the front are very stif without shocks..but they are slams and contiects in the rear no shocks

I'm sorry, but there is never a situation that is better without shocks. There are times when a higher quality shock is needed, like with Slams, but running no shocks is inexcuseable. I personally would suggest running a RE7 with Bilstein shocks for your situation, you would have to be completely ignorant to how your vehicle handles to not notice the difference between yours now and that set up.
