What do i need to do to bag a 88 Ext. Cab S10

I recently bought a 88 Ext. cab S10. Im tryin to get into the "scene" ive helped bag trucks before but im not to sure on how to go about the S10. the rear im not to worried about gettin help im completly rebuilding it with square tubing. i already know i need to buy drop spindles. im not running a big rim 20 at the largest if even that. My main questions are do i have to knotch the frame for tie rods an make the pocket bigger. an another question is about layin body what all is needed. i have alot more questions but i just need the basic ones answered for know..thanks you guys
