i have 2 tall nitrogen bottles for my suspension. i was wondering if i still need to run a tank or if i just run it from the bottle??? thank you for your time. and if there is any builds or pics that would be great

it would be wise to run a tank, without it your suspension will be slow. The high pressure line is rather small and wont flow much volume.

I ran just a bottle on my truck I could hope it if I wanted to so it was not slow.I put a tank on mine with a compressor for back up incase I ran out. That is why you run a tank.Couse if your at a show and are out of nitrogen you need a way to get home. All I did was have a regulater and 1/2 inch line strait off the bottle Ran it like that for a year or more alone. No problems.hope that helps.

when i used a bottle on my truck i had a 7 gallon tank that i used with it. worked great and if i realy played with with it drain the tank some and wouldnt go as fast. but wait a few sec. and its filled agin. i also ran the compressure to fill the tank to max psi  before i turned on the bottle to save a lil of the bottle. id use the compressors when i ran out or if i wasnt going to be realy playin with it. even the big bottles can run out fast if u play alot. if you can afford helium it will make ur truck drop and lift even faster. i know u said nothin about it but its an option lol.

so im little confused. it`ll work with out a tank the same as with a tank. will i go through more air with a tank. whats the differents between compress air and the nitrogen bottles? and do you get the same amount of play with them? sorry for the dum ???`s but thank you for your help..

ive heard that you have to run a tank becuase or the nitrogen is so cold, and the tank lets it expand and warm up a little,  but im not shure how true it is. i dont hit switches alot and i have the smaller bottle, its like 7 inches around, and it will last me all weekend at a show no problem. but like every one else said its a good idea to have a compressor for back up just incase you run out.i dont think that the tank matters with the amount of play you get.  just my two cents.

^^^ thats not true, that is for CO2, one reason nitrogen is good it that it is not as temp sensitive. I ran a Nitrogen tank on my Dakota with out a expansion tank and it was fine. would it be a little faster with a tank, yes. But you can definitely go with out a tank.

dont forget the 2 different types of nitrogen tanks, water pump and oil pump, make sure to go wih the water pump kind it is better for the suspension, cleaner and dryer
