Does anyone know if the wiring harnesses for TBI motors are the same for the different size motors?  I am having some driveabilty issues and Ive been told my wiring harness doesn't match my motor.  My truck originally had the 4.6 in it now it has a 5.7.  Should I need to hunt down a harness from a truck with a 5.7 in it?  I have been getting some conflicting info.  Thanks guys

i dont know if they match up but i do know that when i looked for a wirein harness for my truck for the trans swap. they wouldnt sell it to me if i they didnt have the harness for that year and motor and trans. they said it wouldnt work right.

Thats what the dealership told me too but Ive had a couple people tell me theyre all the same.  This has been a pretty big headache.

the wiring harness is the same, and you can put a 5.7 throttle body on a 4.3 engine too.  u just have to do some adjusting and you have to change computers if you switch the entire engines out.  also,  you can just switch injectors if you want to.

Does anyone have a part # for the harness.  I'm gonna rip mine out and redo it.  Painless has a nice harness but its def not the cheapest way to go.  Whoever did the wiring really jacked it up.  Thanks for everyone's help
