News Release StreetSource.com April 2009          StreetSource.com, leader of the online custom enthusiast community is proud to announce the relaunch of their online custom publication, Street Source Magazine (SSM). Their  9 year legacy of keeping over 60,000 members up to date and coming back will be raising the bar thanks to a cleverly constructed team of industry veterans including Bob Hase, John O’Neill, Kris Bloom, Jim Lynskey, Max Fish and Brandt Fuqua.
This team pulls its talent pool from print and online media, with promotions, ad sales, programming, editorial, technical and photographic expertise, as well as the very best in graphic and layout design at their fingertips. All of the team members have an extensive knowledge and love of all things custom and SSM will incorporate that deep-rooted enthusiasm into the premiere web based publication – Street Source Magazine.
From its inception SSM has been a hub for the online custom community, welcoming a wide range of builders, fabricators, show promoters, painters, upholsterers and stereo installers. Because of this diverse crowd of enthusiasts and professionals that are interested in all things custom, Street Source Magazine will release a single issue per month that incorporates a variety of custom vehicles. There will not be a limitation to what vehicles are featured as long as they meet the quality standard set forth by the magazine’s Editor, Johnny O.
The relationship that StreetSource.com has built with shows, clubs and promoters will be strengthened with the leadership of Bob Hase. His innovative approach will, for the first time in SSM history, provide an opportunity to give back to its paid members. Working closely with shows such as West Coast Nationals, Pandemonium, Scrapin’ the Coast, Gatordrag and a limited list of others, a "Street Source Rewards" will be launched for the 2010 show season. The "Street Source Rewards" will give away cold hard cash to a randomly drawn SSM paid-member who must be in attendance at the designated show. If the prize is not claimed or if the paid-member is not in attendance, the full purse will be rolled over to the next designated show.  Official rules and regulations will be posted on the site.         This is an exciting time for StreetSource.com, new media and online publishing as a whole. As we all know print media has struggled over the past few years, publishing companies have been bought and sold, and magazine titles as well as newspapers have dropped off the newsstands at an alarming rate. Print media’s dated business model, which absorbs the cost of production, printing, distribution and a lag in reporting has failed. StreetSource.com sidesteps all of the negative and dated business practices of the old print industry and with an experienced team of industry professionals will begin a whole new era in SSM history.
This is the new scene, this is the new source.   Street Source Magazine
