Has anyone seen those old school valve switches that has two 1/4" airlines that run to the back of the switch and the switch rests in the center, but you can flip and hold it up or down?  You just put your supply line into it and bag line into it, and then the switch dumps air out of the switch?  I'm not really sure how these things work exactly.

yeah they are called manual valves and they work just how you described it. mic carries them and i got two of them except they dont have the big nut to hold it down.

Mine look quite a bit different then yours pictured.  Mine are black plastic with the tubing push in style of connectors on the back of them, one sticks out farther then the other though.  The switch itself is rectangular in shape.  So the air from the line just shoots out through the front of the switch?

Yup, that's it!  Those things suck too btw!  got 1/4" line running every which way.  They seem to leak as well.
