i just went to autozone and asked if they had some 3/8" hardline for fuel, about 25' or so. the guy goes to the back and returns a few minutes later with a coil of hardline BUT it does-not say for fuel use. the part # is: pac-625 or alternate #: blc-625 "PA COIL".anyone work at autozone or can enlighten me as to the use of this product? im trying to get the fuel lines all lined up and its faily cheap @ $26.99=25' roll.

what material is it? copper?steel?stainless? since you said coil, im going to assume its copper.   whats the wall thickness?   did they tell you what it normally was used for, that can be a good indicator on if you can use it for your application or not.    Taylor

I work at autozone, and i have sold the hardline many times for fuel use, havent ever had anyone say that it doesnt work, its just steel hard line, coated in some type of something to rust proof it on the outside

i'm a parts sales manager at autozone, and like DJ roberts said, they are meant mostly for brakes, but have sold a couple for use as fuel line.

I used to work for AZ, everyone is correct...I have sold it as fuel and brake line...both will work. I always wondered if it would work for air line haha

I'm using it on my bodydroopped truck as fuel line from my fuel cell all the way to the engine (from the rear bumper to the engine) and i bought the exact roll your talking about. I am a manager of an autozone in oklahoma city and i've used it on 4 different vehicle now. It's perfectly safe for fuel no problems ever.  Now on deisel fuel i'm not sure but i can't see why it wouldn't work on that too. But i run regular premium gas.
