I would say until you find a woman that accepts your passions a relationship isn’t in the cards. Keep in mind she doesn’t have to do the mini truckin thing with you to accept what you do. I have seen guys loose some otherwise good women by being too hardcore 24/7 and also insisting that the significant other participate with you in your hobby. Being open and honest enough with yourself to accept that not everyone thinks what we do is as cool as we do is key, IMO. It’s a good idea to be flexible, if she’s got stuff she likes to go do, go with her if you can, it goes a long way, trust me. Don’t be selfish with your time. Every weekend of the year can’t be about the mini or going to shows. I give up tons of opportune time that could be spent in the garage in order to do other things with my wife.
To give you an example, my wife won’t ever be seen riding in my mini, she has told me this much. I'm cool with that as long as I don’t have to take any flak about wanting to participate in my hobby. I have been married 11 years successfully this far and had a mini in my life well before she was around.
Long story short, be cool about your hobby and be flexible with your time. That helps a lot.....but it won’t help with some women, just keep that in mind.
