82 dually info please"bodydrop"

i might be geting a 82 4 door dually and wanted to know how much bodydrop did it need and also would a 305 with a turbo 400 move this beast

Couldn't tell ya on how much to BD it, but at least go through the pinch.  My first dually had a 350/400 combo with a DANA 70 and it moved like a loaded down 1/2 ton! If you just use it to cruise with people in it, i'd say do it. But otherwise get at least a 383 or you can buy my 454 when I pick up my 12v Cummins

this motor will be temp for now ...i would like to put a cummins in mine also but i may find a bigblock if i cant find a cheap desil
