I'm looking for everyone's input on what they'd use for the actual pivot for a watts link.  I really like how Totally Polished used bearings, but without a machined piece for those to sit in, I don't think that'll work.  I would like something that does not make any noise (ie squeeks, rattles, etc) and will have a long life span on a heavy vehicle.  Thanks in advance.

Im making one with a 1" spherical bearing right now, and it looks like its going to work good, but the stuff you need to maek it work right is kinda expensive.  I think it will look good when its done tho!   Taylor

Wouldn't the super pivot let the watts link wobble front to back? i don't know anything about watts links, so this might not be an issue but something to think about.   What about what this dude used ---> http://www.streetsource.com/forum/topic.aspx?topic_id=105929&page=4 A camry hub and bearing. It's an off the shelf part, so if something breaks or wears out, you can just go to the parts store or junk yard.

WOW.  Did I not tell you before Aaron to use a wheel bearing from a car.  Where is Jeremy at....Tell his dumbass to come look at that thread.  He said it wouldnt work.  Idiot!!

Yeah, I thought that was a cool idea. The link bars are also scabbed from a camry rear suspension.

they mentioned the wheel bearing trick to use at school.  my buddy got one from a junk for next to nothing

Only problem I can see using a hub would be the small diameter limiting the amount of lift you can get.
