I know this is not a mini, but I need help.........

and didn't know where else to post this question.
 
I have a 2001 Montero Sport 2WD.  It has the big 108 mm front hubs.  A 2001 Montero (non sport) is 4WD and for some reason only has 78 mm front hubs.  Does anyone know is the front hub and bearing assemblies from the Montero will fit on the Montero Sport?
I am hoping that just the hub diameter and outer bearing diameter is different, and not the inner bearing diameter or spindle shaft diameter.
 
The reason that I am asking is because I have a set of 23's off of a Tahoe and now I own a Montero and of course the wheels do not have a large enough center bore.  I was hoping it was as simple as swapping the wheel hubs and bearings that I an pick up at a junkyard.  It probably is not because that would make my life easier.

call up the dealership and ask someone in the service dept. I have an 07 model and its 4wd so I am not any help but they should be able to tell you something..

The dealership here sucks and they tell me that they do not know and basically have no interest in helping me find out.
