my truck lays body only on 17's now, but i want to move up to 20's. my frame is an inch off the ground when i air out, but because im bodydroped so far it lays out.does anyone have a similar  setup like this with 20's? and what size offset do the wheels need? if you have a setup like this will you post pics of the front setup?, i dont have drop spendels,or tubular control arms, can i even lay it out without the tubular a arms? thanks

Just wondering why you would bodydrop it that far and not just cut the rockers off? You don't need the tubular control arms to lay, but you will probably get something funky happening because of the bodydrop. If the frame doesn't touch, then you'll have to re-do your bag setup as well.

i bought the truck bagged and bodyed, the only reason i can think of is to not have to use drop spendels. who knows, but i figured it would be the same as a truck with a z'd frame and a bodydrop.the only reason they do the z i thought was to run big wheels,  and i am planning on redoing the bag setup already

how do you reangle your upper balljoints? and will the stock chevy 20's fit under a bodydrop? i think someone said their offset is like 50mm not sure. and how much can i cut off the old upper shock mount in the front and still be safe? lots of questions haha thanks for the help in advance

Ok. . .   yes, lots of questions indeed. . .   Umm. .   I'll try to answer them as best I can so you'll understand. .   First off, they must have really done the bags wrong if you arent even layin out on 17s. .    I have swapped to toyota spindles on my truck and I am about 1/4" from layin out on a 225/35/20 tire. . .   I have notched into the frame on my truck. .   And I am bodydropped 3.25". . .   I reverse pie cut my upper control arms so the ball joints wouldnt bind. .   Most guys pie cut em the regular way to help with camber. .   I cared more about suspension travel. .   So I have reverse pie cut my upper arms. .   and reangled the lower ball joints so they dont ever bind up. . .                      Theres a bunch of pics. . .   A couple show the triangulated arms to get rid of the stabilizer bar. . .   And to make it lay out completely, I am going to Z the front part of the frame up 1". .   That'll get the engine crossmember off the ground and give me a lil more suspension drop so I'm not bottoming out on the bag when i lay out. . .   I hope this helps a lil. . .   Let me know if you have more questions. .   I'll try to help out more if I can. . .   -Josh ☆★J.H.
