lug swap

i plan on swapping my lug pattern from a 6x4.5 to teh earlier gen 5x4.5 so i can find some wheels that will tuck on my truck. will any 5x4.5 wheel with a high offset work?

What kind of truck do you have? Those rims have a +40mm offset so I don't see you having a problem with tucking them inside the fenders.

might be close. i have plus 45 offset and they are close. i know of another guy runnin plus 42. the back is whats gonna getcha. good luck

did u guys have to roll or cut the fenders

narrow the rear end. i know the earlier dakotas had that 5 lug pattern, i wana say u can swap the spindles/ rear end.

i was planning on doing the swap to the 5x4.5 pattern by swapping front rotors and finding a 1st gen rear end but i didnt want to narrow the rear also . iwas hoping the +40 offset would work but not sure now
