Normally were taking out the AC but... I just sold the whole ac system i took out of my truck (98 s10 2.2l) to a friend of mine to put in his s10 (98 s10 2.2l) that came from the factory with no ac... it only came with heat.  He got everything put into place, but now we need to figure out how to wire it up. Would the wires for ac still be in the harness even tho it diddnt come with ac? Kinda hard to think GM made 2 different wire harness just for trucks with no ac... If anyone could point me in the right direction so i can help this guy out i would appriciate it alot...

they do that man. its like adding power windows to a truck that didnt have em. the factory didnt add the harness to a non power truck so you have to add the power wires, relays, etc. im completely re-wiring my brava-dime as we speak from a 2000 bravada wiring harness to a 2001 sonoma truck harness and there isnt a damn plug or wire matching up at all. looking like im goin to have to delete every single wire from the bravada and just run the sonoma truck wiring harnesses....... and 4 of em

sounds like you both have your trucks torn apart if the ac system is getting swapped.  why dont yall just swap the harness?  same year and motor right?
