blacked out tail lights

alright my rear lights are extremely black i wet sanded them with 2000 and even 1000 to try to thin out the black a little and its not seeming to promising it looks like it was done with extremely black paint lol what to do ??...keep sanding or what

I would say sand it off and start over.  It's gonna be exremely hard to thin them evenly.  You run the risk of having a very blotchy light when done.  If you sand them down to nothing clean em up real well and re-tint them to the shade you want, the results will look mucho better.  Good luck man.

get new ones louis.... try wet sanding em with 320 or 400

I would, and have! hit it with 180 to remove the first go around. and then 400. I like to leave it a little rough cause its plastic.and everything the mayor said is correct!
