I am removing the 4 wheel ABS on my 95 C1500. Can I use a proportining valve off a 94 (non abs)? I have only heard of people using the Summit adjustable proportioning valves, so I am not sure if there is a reason why?
the adjustable proportioning valve is nice because you can fine tune how your brakes feel and work. im sure the non abs will work fine too. im currently doing the same thing with my s10. but im going to redo all of the lines with stailess braided. hope that helped
I just did this on the tahoe I am working on. You need residual pressure valves and a proportioning valve. 2 psi for disc and 10 psi for drum. Go look at the 2 door tahoe build thread. I posted a link to speedway's diagram showing how to do it.
