Her name is Penny. Black Lab/Akita mix. Gonna be smart and big as hell.

As far as being a house dog, she'll probably only come in at night. We just got a house, so I wanted a big dog that would run the yard with my kids. Y'know, just keep an eye on them.

She's only 10 weeks old, so she should be good growing up with the kids. Were doing all the "dominance training" now so that it wont be an issue when she's big enough for it to be an issue. Know what I mean?

hell yea that is a sweet dog... damn even in the pics she looks like she has some big paws, which means she is goign to be a big one

we had an akita for about 3months.... bastard dug up the WHOLE back yard.... great dog if ya dont mind your yard looking like a minefield exploded.

nice dog man, Akita's can be pretty smart to, my old roommate's dog was half akita & wolf so she was pretty big. My friend thought it was a person with a dog mask on when he saw her stand up on the door haha
