vw beetle rear suspension question

i wanted to know if anyone knew how wide the rear of a beetle is from outside brake drum to outside brake drum?

Didn't feel like jacking it up and taking the wheels off. Rough measurement I got was 52 inches. That is for a 74 Super Beetle with IRS.
