Ok.....I thought I had ball joints from Napa, but they are for the 4x4.  It looks like there is not replacement ball joing unless you buy a whole new lower arm.  
 
Does any one know a part number for a ball joint to fit the 98-00 Frontiers 2wd?
 
The only thing I can think of is weld a new ring in the lower and put the 4wd ball joints in.  that way, I know I can replace them later if they fail or something.  
 
Any thoughts????
