I got a 95 taco for free friday. We are gonna build it into a full, all out show truck / trailor queen. Question is, will the 01-04 front end just bolt on, or do I need to graft it on?

The fenders and hood should just bolt right on, but you'll need to change or modify the heck out of the radiator support to get the grille and headlights aligned to them properly.  As for the bumper, I'm pretty sure you'll have to modify the frame horns a bit, as the 95-97 Taco frame doesn't extend out as far as the later models. But all of the work will pay off- the later model front end looks great! If you decide to keep with the earlier front end, take a look at the 95-96 4wd bumper- it sits more flush to the front end than later models, and has a very aggressive look with the bumper lights down in the valance... just food for thought! -Phil at FBI

yeah, well the frame is gonna be all new. The only thing toyota on the frame will be the engine cradle, and it will be coming from an 89-94 model. So with that being said, the front will not be a big issue, and I can just make all the bracketry I will need to bolt on the 01-04 bumper. And you are right, if I were to keep the older front end, I would use the 95-97 4wd bumper. I had one on my mazda, and that is by far the best looking bumper to put on anything other than a GRANT bumper.
