found this "cicuit" on another web forum (

tructions:1. Cut and solder D1, D2, D3 together end to end, Cathode to Anode. (Cathode is Negative and is the end with the silver band.) I recommend a hook splice solder joint, not offset splices.2. Solder D4 cathode to D3 cathode, and then solder those to the YELLOW wire of the 4 pin harness.3.Repeat steps 1 and 2 for the D5, D6, D7 bank, and then D8 cathode to D7 cathode.4. Solder the GREEN wire of the 4 pin harness to the D7, D8 Connection.5. Solder wire tails to each input to splice into your Vehicle. One on each: D1, D4, D5, D8. These go to the turn signals and brake lights on each taillight.6. Tape over all connections, then tape the left wires and the right wires to bundle them.7. You'll splice the wires as
follows:Truck wire harness colorYellow wire = left turn signal (D4)Brown wire = Left brake light (D1, D2, D3) (NOTE! You will need to trace out the correct wire as brown colored wire is used for both running and brake lights in the truck's wiring harness! Yes, you can tie both left and right brake light wires from the trailer harness together, and connect them to one side or the other, but I like symmetry and I recommend tying them in on each side.)Green wire = Right turn signalOther Brown Wire (License plate lights) = Running lights on trailer harness (brown)After these connections are made, connect the trailer harness white wire to a good ground (a screw through the rear support flange on the frame for the bed is the best.)Connect your trailer to the connector to verify operation of the circuit, or use a test light to make sure the lights come on with the brakes, and the test light flashes brighter when the turn signals are on.4 pin harness color codeWhite: Ground Brown: Running Yellow: LT and Stop Green: RT and StopNOTE! those of you that have LED lights on your trailer may have to put a 50ohm 10 watt resistor across the left tail output and another across the right output to make a load for the circuit to operate properly (radio shack p/n 271-133)
