DOH!!! Clear coat ?

My dumb ass got a finger print in a peace I just clear coated, What would be the best way to get it out ?

i'd clear it again......but if you cant do that just sand it with some 1000 grit, then 1500, then buff it out.

Cool I will have to sand it I think its to deep to buff out, wet sand be better or dry ?

wetsand for sure. id just wet sand it with 1000 grit making sure not to sand through it, and re clear it.

wet sand and let clear breath then sand a little more and if you didnt go thru clear it again to make sure you dont burn it when you buff it. and trizac is the shit kinda high but the shit, i wet sanded a hole bed with 1 piece and i couldve done the cab also but didnt want to push it also get the trizac compound its awesome also

Hell ya guys thanks for all the info, Did a nice and slow wetsand with 1000 grit reshot clear looks good.will buff in a day or two,And I know better not to put parts on a unstable table now. LOL

looks good......and hey we all do it. I work in the bodyshop painting for around 14 hours a day, and mistakes happen. The good part is that its an easy fix.
