I hope this isn't that dumb of a question but i've been looking at all the builds Hydroholics have been doing and they're getting me very very interested in switching to juice, now back to the dumb question. Do they make gauges for hydraulics?

they have pressure gauges, but they dont really do anything to tell u what height your at. ive been on juice for several years. i go by feel. can tell by the lean, the way is riding and driving, etc...

There is a pressure guage that you can run. It will tell you your line pressure. Or... the better option, get the same ride height sensors that they use when bagging. There is no reason you can't use them the same way. I am not sure why more people don't do them. But, then again I have had the option several times and never really cared enough about it. I just go by feel, or the head out the window.

ive been thinkin bout trying the ride height sensors like jeremy said. i also use my rear view...tilt it down to see how much camber i have in the rear....

i was thinkin about a settup like the red sierra cruzlo built, on his system it tels him in inches how far his rocker is from the ground, pretty slick.  but yeah the head out the window for the front if your worried and the side mirror to check out the camber in the back is one i used too.

You can count the hits on your switch too...I would know that 4 taps of the switch to the front (for example) is where i needed it to be...this is something us at Hydroholics are going to work on...you certainly don't have a dumb question!

I have had hydraulics in the past on a 98 f150. I had them set up with no springs just accumulators. It rode great! I have owned many bagged trucks since and none of which ride as good as that truck did. My setup only had two batteries, I was not concerned with the truck being able to hop or anything like that. When you have the space i would recommend doing them. Once i got all the kinks worked out of my system and finally got the right cylinders (triple O ring) i had zero problems and besides for charging batteries every so often it was 100% maintenance free.
