Custom Vehicle Sale Questions

I'm working on putting my Nissan up several places for sale or possible partial trade and I've got a few questions. I've dealt with Mautofied and Craigslist before and had mixed results. I sold my 2500HD through Craigslist and fortunately I found a buyer who lived an hour away but I'm afraid of dealing with Ebay and Mautofied because they both generally attrace non-local buyers. What do you guys do when you're looking to sell a ride? I'm looking at shipping at payment options.

i've sold several rides on ebay and it's one of the best ways to get a buyer that lives nowhere near you. had people travel 12-16 hours one way to pick up busted ass vehicles. lol craigslist is great because you get a lot of local people and they might be willing to pay more since they are closer and can come look at the vehicle in person where as on ebay, many times they are just going with their gut feeling without looking at the ride before paying. mautofied is not one of my favorites only because everyone on there thinks they can trade you a $200 dirt bike for a cover truck.   i use all of these sites to advertise, and they all seem to work pretty decent. i've even sold a ride here on ssm. hope all this helps, even though all of this info was probably already assumed. lol

Already had that one in mind Shannon. Now just find somebody that has at least a little $$ and doesn't wanna trade me a non-running pile of feces for it....LOL.

I would just take that truck to the scrap yard and get the price of metal.
