so im building a full frame for my 91 ranger right now and i need to go buy some 1 1/2" tubing for xmembers and just random shit but i was curious if i should get .120 wall (1/4") or .188 (3/16")? my frame is built with 2x3 .188 so i was thinkin of using the same wall but is it necessary? i think .120 would be fine i just wanted to check with you guys, its gonna also be used for bag brackets, cantilever parts wishbone and link bars...also id like to post some pics of the build but everytime i try to post i have issues with it, anyone wanna help?

id go with with 3/16"...1/4 is pretty damn thick and i dont see a need for it,especially on a mini.  hell 1/8" would prolly work for xmembers lol.

1/8" for crossmembers would be fine, but might just be easier possibly cheaper to just get all the same size tubing.  3/16 would be fine for the bag mounts and you could probably do it with 1/8".  The biggest thing is if it is braced right, it could be solid bar but if it isn't braced right it won't matter

120 wall is 1/8 and i used 2x2 1/8th wall on my trans crossmember, but 1/8 will work just fine

.120 is 11g which is 5 thousandths of an inch thinner than 1/8". in reality that would be fine for crossmember but i over build everything so i would use 3/16" and plus it would match.
