I bought my 73 already bagged, and it has tubular upper and lower arms. but the original builder didn't grease the bushings in the lowers and they came apart. the problem I'm having is finding new bushings. I hope oem size bushings will work but I don't know. I don't even know what brand the arms are. they don't look like ART or DJM arms, and definately not SD. they use the factory crossshafts, but I'm worried that the outside diameter is different. anyone dealt with this before or know what will work? who else makes arms for these trucks that these could be?

Some pictures of these arms and bushings would be of great help.

nate, joe said they may be your old arms. they came off of rob's old truck. if so, do you remember what they were?

Nah I still got my arms for the c-10 im working on now.  They are the art arms.  I think I sold him just new body mounts and slotted rotors.  I'm not sure what arms he was running.  Would anthony at m2w  know?

oh ok. he knew you sold him something for it. I know the uppers on this truck are ART. they said strong arms on the side. but the lowers look totally different. I went to M2W the other day and he said he had no idea if the bushings were the same or not. I have ordered a set of stock size poly bushings, so hopefully they will fit. that's the only thing holding me up from putting the front suspension back together and getting it back on the ground. everything is painted and all pretty so just waiting on bushings and a steering joint and it will be rolling again

I was about to say if you want I have a set of factory lower bushings that down at my shop I'm not using if you haven't already ordered them.

ah damn. oh well. I do need to get down there though. joe said he has a set of neon inside door handles down there that I am wanting to mold into my door panels

alright, I'll get at you. wanna see what you've been doing with yours lately too. my dad has a set of 67-72 drop spindles he isn't going to use if you're interested. he'll probably give them to you for a very reasonable price

well I finally got pics of the arms. i bought a set of stock replacement poly bushings, and they had to be cut down an 1/8" to fit. luckily my dad is a machinist, so he just threw them on the lathe and turned them down for me. but does anyone know what arms these are?
