EMT-I National Registry Test

 anybody a emt? im gettin ready to take the test here in 2 weeks and wondered if anybody had any tips/pointers? i need all the help i can get.

Not an EMT but I've been a first responder at work for the last 10 years. We just get the abbreviated course. You have any experience being around trauma victims or are you new to this? Cpr guidelines change every year it seems like so I wouldn't sweat that too much. The hardest part for me was the first time somebody puked on me. And trust me, it will happen.

im not yet but i plan on going to school soon, i was a volunteer fire fighter in tennessee and worked with the emts all the time

besides the required ambulance ride along time i was required to have i have no medical background. im a firefighter and my department requires us to also be EMT-I certified too. so.....i just did my hands on skills test this past weekend and will be taking my written nat'l registry test for the first time on the 29th. u get 6 attempts before your fired. lol

im going to school right now for emt and my teach said the nat reg test is alot easier than the test to pass the class, but he said to study, study, study.... thats prob why im taking the course over again, i didnt study hard enough in the first place, but good luck bro!!!! hope all goes well!!
