accumulator question

I have an s10 I just put some hydraulics on. I didnt use springs just cce accumulators all the way around. I mounted the rear cylinders over the axle and the rear is ridin rough haha. question is what would you guys think a good pressure to set the rear accumulators would be thanks.

The general concensus on Layitlow is 350 PSI.  I recently pulled they hydraulics off of a friends truck that had a CCE setup with Parker accumulators and I have to get them recharged before I can use them on my truck.  His truck rode real good.  I like the ride of his truck better than mine with bags on it.  I am having them charged up to 350 PSI.

If they are new cylinders or have new seals in them give them a couple of weeks to break themselves in. They will ride rough at first and you'll notice it will get smoother by the day.  CCE's come charged to 350, which may be a little high considering your truck doesn't have much weight..so you may be able to let a couple of quick squirts out of each. 

Check the PSI because every time I have ever gotten a set from CCE they where not charged like they said, never, and I have dealt with them for years, lol.... But if that checks out I'm with Derek and ride it to break it in. The bladders in the accumulators will streatch a tiny bit I've been told as well to soften it up.

I'm not going to tell you anything diffrent, Give it some time for the seals to break in. As far as what Billy said, that's the truth too, Get on their website and order the recharge fitting, and adjust them yourself once all of your seals break in. My Ford rode great once it got all dialed in.

well Im thinkin that Im gonna let the rear accumulators down to 300 on the rear and just break the cylinders in and see what happens lol thanks for the help 

where are you guys getting the gauges to adjust the accumulator pressure. I saw on cool cars they had a fill chuck but it has no gauge.

mine rode like a caddy at 300 and handle like a sports car it was great!!

--------------------------------------------- I never realized that, that's kinda silly. You figure they'd offer a "complete" charging kit... Welding supply stores SHOULD have the gauge you need. I can't believe CCE wants $90 for that fill chuck though. CCE sells Integral Accumulators. (www.integral-accumulator.com) You might want to look on that site and see if they offer the chuck for a cheaper price.
