Ok this might sound silly or dumb but i cant figure it out and was hoping some more mechanically profound people could help me with this? In my 1965 caddy the heating system has been, umm messed with, to say the least.  But my main issue is i dont have heat.  I swear i am pretty sure i had some when i first got it but cant be positive.  So i can turn the blower on and the blower motor is operational.  But like i ssaid no heat is blowing out of the vent.  So then i turn the vehicle off and the windshield begins to "fog" up right above, and in an upward fogging action you could say, over the defrost vents? I was at the weirs and a guy just walked by and said, "hey looks like u have aa heater core problem heh?" and before i could talk to him he was gone.  So am i hoping someone could shed a light on this for me???Thanks

its definatly your heater core.....change it out and you should be good. I had the same issues in my Buick Regal when I first got it.

heater core - replace - then enjoy your heater just in time for summer
