sell it and buy a 2wheel drive - easiest - why do you want to do this to a 4x4 and if you are asking should you really be tackling this?  you have to remove the front axle, the transfercase, change crossmembers, put on a front suspension with control arms, then will end up Z'ing the frame..  its a really drawn out process that if you are asking how to do it, probably should not tackle this...

---------------------------------------------Originally posted by jdozier1279cant i get a 2wd frame and put the body and motor on it--------------------------------------------- you could...  changing the body is a lot of work, never really goes as easy as it sounds, and then you still have a low hanging frame that will need to be modified for laying out...  if you are seriously looking for a blazer to lay out, then sell what you have, take that money and buy a 2 wheel drive in less than perfect shape (you are going to cut it up anyhow) and have at it...  starting with a 4x4 is not easy or even a good idea money wise you will be doing WAY more than needed - get a 2 wheel drive and start with that.  1 4x4 blazer can bring some good money, specially in the north where it shows, people like them cause of the short turning radius - its just way to much work to tackle for someone who knows what they are doing, let alone someone who is asking what to do...  not trying to dis you or anything, just saying if you have to ask how to, then you probably should not take on a project like that its very involved!
