i thought about starting a thread about garages couple of weeks ago when mine was clean..basically empty. now i have a half finished frame table whoring up the space hope other people post their shops and man caves up, post up some pics PNKTCO. heres mine 2 car garage is all i have to work with right now

frame table.. i'm working on some tabs at work that are 3/8" thick to weld on to the tubes that bolt in the narrow tubes so i can disassemble the table when im done        lot of metal i bought for the frame table, custom frame and couple other projects,   also an s10 front clip from a friend of mines part truck                                                                               (from left to right )tool box and welder cart then a welding bench covered in junk right now and bunch more junk in front                                                                             peg board, cabinet and overhead shelves all installed by me, cabinet built by my dad, that shitty ladder is about to be replaced with a fold down unit   welding table has 360 swivel locking casters, leveling bolts in front legs, and side & rear panels are removable with no tools    (loosen the thumbscrews a turn and lift up all 3 panels together if needing more space)     my ever expanding TO DO list, scratch 1 off - write 2 more down, i need a bigger dry erase board     next item going into garage is a MUCH larger, beefier air compressor probably around winter time   POST UP YOURS PEOPLE

also that picture of the frame table is only two / thirds of it, couldnt fit it all in the picture, much larger than i thought it was going to be. it will also have leveling legs of some sort and they will be removable as well. i have to do with what little space i have  this is what it looked like when we bought the house less than a yr ago... those were the only two lightbulbs in the entire garage, now it has 4- 48inch dual fluorescent fixtures and of course repainted white, cuz brown looks like poo 

what size garages are you all building? my wife and i are about to buy our first home and i'm trying to determine the size to build.  I'm thinking of doing a 30' x 30' w/ atleast 12' of head room to hopefully squeeze in a lift. what are the best features of your garages also?  i'm looking for ideas...thanks.

you can never have enough space we plan on building a house in like 5-10 yrs or so, and a shop is on my list of needs, 30 by 30 and tall is good, find the kind of lift you want depending on your needs and factor that in when you build/ buy your shop.... i plan on having a shop located behind our house at least 15' maybe 20' tall so i could have a loft/ storage area overhead in one of the corners (like above a half bathroom) and a lift somewhere down the line...

its so we dont have to have curtains keep the neighbors outta sight.... should say paint AROUND the window...FYI  its not on there any more
