I just bought an 01 Deville and I'm looking for an airbag setup for it.  I don't have a shop so I don't have access to any tool I could ask for, so is there anybody that makes a easy to install kit for these vehicles?  And if so, how low will it make the car?

I hate to sound like an idiot with this, but this is the first car that I've owned that I've looked into bagging.  Everything else has been trucks.

Anybody got anything?    Also, if you have pics of the vehicle/setup/install that would be great also.

If you have a macpherson strut front end, contact Chassis Tech and they can get some adjustable mac struts for you. You may need to give them the VIN number for your car.  IT got me pretty low in the front, but what got me another 2 inches lower was i cut the strut towers from the engine and welded a 2 inch cup to lift the strut.  this is where the top of the strut mounts.  on the rear, you should have a shock and a spring.  depending on how you want to go, u can either make bag mounts where the spring is located and use a bag set up, or (how I did it) take the spring out completely, take shock out compeletly and replace the shock with an air cylinder.  the set up I have now completely lays out the car and has a great ride (like a cadillac should).  To use an air cylinder, you need to cut the shock tower to fit the cylinder bracket on the top.  go to a metal shop to have a part for the shaft fabricated to connect to the old shock mount.  doing it this way prevented me from having to cut the wheel wells.  all in all, wasn't too hard of a job to do.

have you considered running hydros? i know back in the day people used to kind of frown on hydros because of problems or the bouncy ride but lately they have been coming back strong and with the products they are very reliable and if you run accums it will ride just like the caddy it is. i'm not sure if you have following along with any of the build threads but if you haven't i would suggest checking one or two of them out.

I have considered hydros and the only people I would even consider doing it would be Hydroholics.....but unfortunately they're on the other side of the US.........I"ve ran juice before on trucks, and bags as well....I've had good and bad expereinces with both.   Hydroholics does some kickass work without question...if I was in Cali I'd be in touch with them right now....there's just not that many reputable hydro installation places here in NC...especially producing work anywhere close to their quality
