ok i have a question. I bought the triangulated 4-link from suicide doors. Now the bottom bars i"m supposed to set at ride height. Which i'm using 7 inches (using re-7 collapsed to expanded measurements). Ok now when the have the truck set at 7 inches i go to set the bottom bars level with the ground and thats not possible. The bottom tab towards the motor will be down below the actual frame and will end up dragging it off. Now my question is...do i set the bag at whatever i can get it at and make the top bars parallel to that??

What do you have installed so far? Post some pics of what you are working with. Parallel with the ground at ride height is a general rule, not an absolute. Just as long as your instant center is some where close to the front bumper, you'll be ok. Have you read Max's fourlink article? It's stickied in the suspension section.

ok i will post pics when i get home.  one thing we did last night was set the pinion angle at 2 degrees. the bars parallel with the ground when the truck was laid out.  Not sure if this was a good idea or not.  Due to the fact that we are saying that ride height is laid out

I would say lower your front lower mounts, to were the bottom of the mounting tab is just above the bottom of that crossmember. The upper mounts need to be lower also. Remember, if you are looking at your link bars from the side, and where to extend them out, you would want them to intersect around the front bumper. Another thing I would change, is put the bag mounts on the bars, instead of offset to the side. I've seen some scary stuff happen with mounting them like like(Including my own truck).

I would also pull your bag mount in closer to the frame. You have a lot of pressure on the inside of that bag mount, it's acting like a lever, the longer the lever, the more force that is applied. I don't mean to pick apart your build, just trying to share my experiences with you. Post some more pics as you get it further along!

Better 4-link layout, but ur going to experience alot of flex out of those bottom bars with the bags mounted on the side

definetly a better layout but in the first pic of the new set up it looks to be set at ride height ????  from the pic it looks like your instant center is actually behind the vehicle at ride height which may cause some odd handling characteristics.
