Hello everybody, my buddy has a yota pickup extended cab around a 91 I think. Anyways the trucks bagged, traditional body dropped, custom back half after the cab, the fronts Z'ed and the motor was lowered. I haven't really had time to help him with this in a while but I would like to try and find a solution before I go over there again.

The issue.... The bags are mounted on the upperforward facing triangulated 4 link bars, when the truck airs up it pushes the carrier bearing forward and into the tranny, its also causing it to limit the lift at like half stroke. The bars are a decent length around 2 ft i think on the lowers and the uppers are longer. I really havent messed with too many trucks with carrier bearings and We need to try and get this figured out so he can get it on the road. Thanks everybody for any advise or help.

The easiest way to solve the issue since its all together already will be to add a slip section to the rear shaft. You may be able to use the slip section from a 4wd shaft if you are lucky, you will have to experiment and see what will be best for the situation.

Yea we have thought about  that as well. Does anybody else have any other ideas? Like does anybody raise or lower the carrier bearing on these things?
