I'm wanting to do mandrel bent frame rails and was wondering who or where was the closest place to central florida?
Also what is the thickest they will do?

Anything that is mandrel drawn for an auto chassis seems to max out at .125 wall from what i have been able to find, thats plenty thick when built and braced correctly. As far as someone near you I don't know, most places that handle this type of stuff(Art Morrisson, Autoweld etc.) will ship via frieght due to the size of the product.

Yeah 11 guage or .120 was the thickest or avg. of what ive seen done.  The best place I found so far was autoweldchassis which will build to spec.  Thanks

Mike Alexander sold me mine. They are 1/4 inch thick 2x4 and are wrinkle free. They were a decent price (even shipped). I would hit him up and see if he can get more. I cant remember his screen name but I think it is hotroddime or something like that.

Wicked Fantacies - you looking for someone to build you one or you just want the rails?  Jimmy Graham (of Scrape-n-Customs fame) at Jimmy's Rod n Customs right outside of Daytona is the man when it comes to frames and customs chassis and mandrel bent rails.  Hit him up at  http://www.myspace.com/jimmysrodncustom  later <>

Art Morrison, Chris Alston Chassisworks (KP Components) all offer mandrel bent rails, just give them the specs!
