Well, I had my rear AC for my Burban removed so the hose that went to the back had a return that is no longer there... On the Hard like its an open male fitting on each side.  A small one and a big one... Do they have anything to cap them off? or maybe have shorter hose to attatch them???
looks like these ends=

Also I was told that the compressor would not turn on BC The AC isnt Charged... Is this true????I need to charge it up but I have the older set up so i dont know where does that!

the best bet is find some way to cap the lines off. dont loop them. and the compressor will not run without a charge.

call gm dealer and get new a.c. lines for a silverado that year that only had front a.c. and just change the lines out to only run front a.c.  i am going to be doing the samething on my escalade because of a hole in the rear a.c. line. i talked to the dealer and the front lines are the same lenght on a silverado as the escalade so i am going to replace the line that runs from the condensor and compresser and just have front a.c. sense i do not use the rear a.c. anyways. hope this helps.

Either get new ones or take that lines out and take them to a hydraulic hose shop they can cap them or remake anything that you need. Yes, in any A/C system there is a cycling switch. It performs exactly the same function as a pressure switch on an air ride system. If it does not see pressure from refrigerant it will not cut the A/C compressor on.
