My boss is looking at a 99 and wanted to know  how hard would it be to lower the front..?? I know the back will just take a flip kit,,but we were wondering if you can use spindles?? I found keys for the torsions but hes looking at doing  like a 4/6 drop...Thanks for the help...

Some 4wd trucks can use a drop spindle, but I'm not sure about the GM trucks. I can look at one if you need me to. Otherwise I'm not sure what to tell you.

Edited: 7/15/2009 8:19:13 AM by iLLblazerWhy dont you pick up the phone and call some companies that offer lowering kits? The 2000 dually (2wd) that I'm doing is 88-98 Bodystyle. Not sure if that applies to 4x4 1tons as well but they made 88-98 style up to 2000 in 2WD for sure. So you will need 88-98 style parts for this truck if its the same for 4x4s.
