Hey guys,  i saw toyrover was thinkin bout doing it in his hilux.  what do you think would be the best course of action?  i like the idea of having one piece headlight and turnsignal.....  i think it would look very streamlined!!!!  i guess i could just section the grill and make it narrower and match the edge of the hood up to make it look right..... thanks for your feedback!!  rover if you got any insight id love to hear it...

anything could be done just gota figure out if you are gonna heed the harness ..something like that from toyota would be $$$$ ..and the lights are cheap as hell on ebay ...i thought about this on my 93 but found they make projector for the 99 so i put them on mine

hey, tom how did you fit your taco headlights on your truck? I have the 200 model on my 89 but can't seem to get them adjusted correctly so at night I have a damn vw in front of my truck like Im advertising for them. they work though. I use a billet grille out of a 2000 too but had to eliminate two of the bars because of the bumper. I am still using my 4 runner sides though. I should have looked for projectors when I did my conversion, they look good. went with oe ones off of a 2000.

yea i bought the clear ones 1st didnt know they made projectors...but i trimed my core support to get them to fit ...they should have adjusting screws on the back one on top and one on bottom each corner just adjust them till you get it how you like it ...i havnt got mine 100% but they are better then the clear ones ...i used most of the stock mounting points just used self taping screws...yea i had to do the same on my grill..and on mine i had to break the bracket that stuck out to the outsides on the lights..heres a better pic..dont mind the fender in the second still working on them

did you start from scratch on your front fenders? or keep the old ones and modify? I have been thinking about shaving my side markers but not sure if I would like it or not. I had to break those tabs off on my lights also. I ended up breaking the adjusters off f my lights to make them fit and they aren't adjustable anymore so I just set them up as high and out as I could. they work ok but I am still using my 4runner radiator support so I didn;t expect much as far as fitment goes. I like the look tho. my get some projectors but Id have to go chrome and I would only do it so I could do a dual balast hid setup. I may do the hids on my headlights I have now but I like the ability to go from dim to bright, guess its ingrained in me. oh well.
