ac on a 98 chevy

alright so i got a 98 chevy and the ac is not blowing thru the upper vents and it not blowing cold i know chek the freon but why would it not be blowing thru the upper vents could the controls be bad or maybe a blower fan etc i'm not a chevy know it all by any means lol i would just like to find out about this and as far as heater goes i'm not sure if it works i have not cheked it out but i will update as far as that goes but if anybody can give me some help i would really appreciate it thanks and its a 5.7L v8 if that matters and 2wd

not sure if a 98 is ran off vacum but if it is check all your vacum lines i had a similar problem in my 95 s10 and replaced a line and works perfect now

I had the same problem on mine at first, I know they are not the same years, but one of my flapper doors behind the dash near the floor was not fully opening and only blowing out on my feet......it took a while but was something simple to fix, check that out and let me know.
