ok i'm about to re-do all the plumbing and wiring on my blazer. i currently have 10 bigmouth 1/2 valves, 4 fill valves for the front, but i have 2 of them disconnected because the truck hopped with like 150psi which i wanted at one time but now can't stand. so now i am considering going with just 4 1/2 valves all together. now my question is what are the advantages of using 8 valves over 4 other than the obvious side to side crap which i could care less about. i just want front and back.

8 valves wired as you desire and some slow down valves inline to tune your lift and drop is what you need. SD has inline slow downs, as do others I'm sure. G'luck

I always recommend individual coners not for side to side but for adjustability in case of a fat girlfriend or if ur truck has a slight lean

i would only use 4 valve just for up and down must use 8 for up and down side to side it's also for better control .if you want you can use only 4  2 up front and 2 for rear means 1valve is t-off to both bags up front for up and same thing for the other valve for down not very efficient and alot more connections  stick with 4 up front and 4 in the rear make sure u mount the valves as close to the bags as you can so it will lift the front much quicker

If you only run 4 valves 2 in front and 2 in the back then you will have problems of air going back and forth from one bag to the other in the front and the back's, I would definitely recommend 8 Valves. I also like running check valves off the tank so you don't have air blow back into your holding tank from any of the bags.

that is why i said not very efficient and then said better to run 8 valves 2 per bag

Yes 8 valves will give you F/B/SS but I ran 8 valves not only for individual bag control but if one bag pops or blows a hole you're only worried about that one corner.  Not the whole front or rear.  I blew a front bag going to Slamsession one year and had to drive the last 16 miles laid out in front hittin switches to avoid pot holes.  After that I ran 8 valves, (4 fill 4 dump) and it handled the corners much better.  Made it a lot more fun to drive with a little more peace of mind.  I probably put 25K miles on that air setup.

I run 8, works good for me. I can adjust a corner if I need to. I may try running 4 on my next ride just to see what it is like and see if one is better than the other.
