---------------------------------------------Originally posted by Afazz65While on the subject, I have a question about hydroholics 5-dump wiring.  On that tech page you say it may be necessary to wire the back switch "up" to open the front dumps.  Is there a downside to doing this anyway, regardless of engine weight?  Do you guys have any videos of hitting switches in your 5-dump 24v setups?---------------------------------------------The downside is...if the front of the vehicle weighs substantially more than the rear if the front is up and you lift the rear the fluid transfer will make the front drop significantly.  The 5 dump manifold (especially with 24V) isn't really a "hitting switches" setup.  It's for the person who wants lift and drop capabilities with the adjustment range and ride quality of hydraulics who can hit an occasional side here and there.  For one who wants to play more, def go with 2 or more pumps.

Alright so I went and picked up the setup from my buddy and the way its setup it looks like tere is 3 dumps and 2 accumualtors for the front and 2 dumps and 1 accumulator for the rear. Is this setup any better or worse then the way your diagram shows plumbing it? If I left it like this what would be the correct way of wiring it? Thanks again for all your help guys.

so essentially you use the fifth dump to actually lower the car and the other four as check valves. had i known it was that easy i would have stayed with my 1 pump 6 years ago. i had built an 8 dump manifold because i thought that the dumps couldnt hold pressure on the return side of the valve body. the only problem was there wasnt ever enough fluid in the tank to fully raise up all corners 100%. i also was using the wrong fluid and would have huge spills when i played too much with them.  i was planning on bagging my truck, but i still have a spare pump and tons of extras, so when the time comes i'll buy a manifold and juice the truck too!
