Does anyone know about these painted club logos that go on the glass?  Does it make a difference if I live in NY with cold weather?  Also My rear glass rolls down, will it affect?  is the process different from doing it on metal????  Please, any info will help!

They paint is very sensitive, but i dont think the cold weather will affect it. You use One shot to paint them i know that much. The guy that does em for us here can ship the glass anywhere in the US. I would assume that rolling it up and down will probably scratch it.  good luck

Yes, I'd recommend using one shot if you do get your window painted. It's a type of sign painter's enamel paint. I'd only worry if you're trying to paint it on in cold weather. Otherwise it should be fine if applied in the normal recommended temp range. They will start to chip and scratch over time––don't expect it to hold up like paint does on metal. If your window rolls down it will likely scratch the paint however.   An alternative to painting directly on the glass would be to get the logo cut in matt vinyl UN-weeded... lightly scuff the surface and then airbrush or paint the vinyl. Lightly clear it. Then weed it, apply pre-mask paper and carefully apply to your window. We were doing that 15 years ago.

if its something that your wanting to be extremely permanent, Than I usually recommend etching the logo before painting  it....this ensures a good "tooth" for the paint to bite onto and guarantees a greater longevity for the logos life expectancy

The weather won't affect it too much, the paint may fade after some time.  We used to have painted windows when I was in Ground Zero back in the early 90's.  I would be concerned about the window rolling up and down , that  may cause issues. They used  paint called one shot on them. I think its a pretty common paint for sign painters and pinstripers.
